A magnificent Antique George III Sterling Silver Samovar by esteemed silversmith Paul Storr. This Georgian Tea Urn boasts many design elements typical of Storrs classical style. The round Urn is supported on 4 leaf topped lion paw feet and the body and lid are decorated with chased fluted patterns. The Urn has a pair of impressive ring handles topped with acanthus leaves. The lid has an impressive finial which can be pulled out to release steam. The Body, Lid, Base and Burner are each engraved with a small crest.

Made in London, England in 1800 by Paul Storr.

The Silver Samovar is in excellent condition with no damage. There is cosmetic wear to the finial on the tap.
