A magnificent Antique George III solid silver lidded tankard. This Tankard has a traditional Georgian baluster shaped body on a wide spread foot topped with a substantial domed hinged lid with an impressive thumb piece. This Tankard features all the classic stylistic elements in a much larger than traditional size. The Tankard also has a large engraved monogram opposite the impressive scroll handle.
Made in London in 1770 by William & James Priest.
