Antique Irish George III Georgian Silver Loving Cup / Goblet Cork Ireland

A traditional antique Irish sterling silver loving cup or two handled goblet. This Georgian silver cup stands on a spread pedestal foot and has a band around the centre of the body. The cup has a pair of Classic acanthus leaf topped scroll handles.
Made in Cork, Ireland in circa 1770 by Carden Terry.

Approx. width incl handles- 17.8cm
Approx. diameter at rim- 10cm
Hallmarks- Makers Mark, Stamped Sterling.
This cup is in an excellent condition with no damage and a lovely patina commensurate with age and use.
