Antique Viennese Enamel & Silver Gilt Vase c. 1880 Cornucopia

A magnificent Antique Viennese Enamel vase in the shape of a Cornucopia supported by a Griffin figure on a pedestal foot. The entire Cornucopia Vase is covered with richly coloured Viennese Enamel on both the exterior and interior surfaces. The Enamelled Surfaces show detailed scenes of classical and mythological figures in outdoor settings. The vase is further embellished with decorative scroll and folate patterns. The Enamelled vase is mounted with Silver Gilt decorative accent pieces including a roaring lion head on the tail of the cornucopia.

Made in Vienna, Austria in c. 1880.
