An impressive Antique Georgian Solid Silver Basket. This George III Swing Handled Cake Basket has an oval form and features an intricate chased and pierced design on the entire body. The Basket also had a pierced pedestal foot and the rim of the basket is embellished with an applied leaf design.
Made in London in 1772 by Robert Makepeace I.
