A beautiful Antique George III Georgian Sterling Silver Lidded Tankard in a classic baluster shape and standing on a spread foot. The body and domed lid of the Tankard are embellished with an ornate floral, foliate & scroll design. The Tankard has a large blank cartouche opposite a curved scroll handle. The interior of the Tankard and Lid are gilded.
Made in London in 1768 by William & James Priest.
