GEORG JENSEN SOLID SILVER COMPORT DISH BOWL DENMARK c. 1945 – 1977

A magnificent Solid Silver Comport / Compote Dish by the esteemed Silversmith Georg Jensen. The Comport has a subtle hammered finish on the substantial bowl and round spread foot. The column between the bowl and foot is created in the shape of a stylised twisted Grape Vine with pendant bunches of grapes directly supporting the Bowl.
Date – c. 1945 – 1977.
Made in Denmark.
